It’s been 23 years since Tamiya released Item 24229 124 Porsche 911 GT3 in 2001. A 2022 addition to the legendary, ever-evolving Porsche 911 series, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a high performance road car with a strongly circuit-oriented design.The hood and fenders have vents, and wheel arches and roof are equipped with fins. Its massive rear wing’s Drag Reduction System (DRS) contributes to the seriously refined aerodynamics, and the liberal use of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) ensures a lightweight body. The rear flat-six cylinder engine provides 525 PS. This model assembly kit recreates the iconic Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) introduced in 2022. It is the first new 911 GT3 kit since the release of item 24229 Porsche 911 GT3 in 2001. The GT3 RS (992) was added to the legendary, ever-evolving Porsche 911 series in 2022.
